I rang Seat customer services. The guy couldn't tell me on the spot, but did ring back as promised. He gave me the order number for future reference.
Got a phone call from the dealers this morning. Our Cupra is now due for delivery. Apparently it cannot be traced as to exactly when it will be delivered as it depends on which haulage contractor is used. some will text the day before delivery and some just turn up. He did say Monday at the latest.....

I share your frustration Timothy! Mine was first supposed to be Mid May, then the end of May... Now I'm being told it may be as long as the second week of June. Which will be a full 18 weeks since I ordered.

Yes, it's very frustrating. Mine was set for mid April, then mid May and now mid June.. From next week on we can have a substitute car, because the promised delivery date is exceeded by 25%. And that is all you get for your long waiting :s

Another phone call this afternoon to say our Cupra will be delivered tomorrow. going down after work to have a look before its PDIed and finalise the paperwork. Photos to follow

Not heard a thing from our dealer, despite emailing him earlier. Car supposedly at Sheerness since 13th. What is this about signing paperwork ahead of collection? That won't be easy as the dealer is 230 miles away. Hoping it can all be done on collection day.

I am buying on PCP so may not apply to you - dealer said need to sign paperwork and fax to get final OK from Lease company although already finance approved so not sure why. Needed signature and copy of licence and utility bill for address.
You getting yours from a certain garage that may also make diggers mate? Just asking as mine was delivered from Sheerness to the garage on the 13th.
The garage sent me over finance documents to sign by email, I had to send them today with my license by recorded delivery. They're shocking at answering emails though, normally 2 days between answering which means I probably won't get mine till next week as I'm 324 miles away.

Because I am going tomorrow to look it over I was given the option of finalising the paperwork prior to collection so I do not need to spend more time than is needed to drive away in our new steed. I am also purchasing on PCP. I have even already chosen my reg number today so it can be registered tomorrow.
Yup, that's the one! I guess your was on an earlier boat then as the boat ours was on didn't dock until 7:30 pm on 13th?
I think I'll ring them tomorrow. Was hoping to pick up Saturday, but looks like no chance of that now. Will have to be following Saturday which is a bit of a downer.

not quite. has to go to the body shop for the side skirts to be fitted so I will be suprised if it is ready before wednesday at the earliest. At least I am only 10 miles away so will collect it as soon as its ready.
Same boat, Laudace? Yeah weirdly enough the guy emailed me at 11:36pm on the 13th, communication consistency is quite a bit off!

Off the boat and delivered to dealer in under 4 hours? That's some turnaround. Got me wondering now why mine isn't at the dealers as well.
