Hi ya all....
The things just arrived and as promised i will share them with you....

front bumper
the similarity is around 95% just needs a slight modification at in the left & right rounded ends ( holes ) in order to be squared. beyond this everything is just perfect.

rear bumper
Standard rear bumper ( given to me for free from a friend ) it will get slightly modified in the line that separates the black spoiler from the rest of the body....

Hood air vent
Came as it should, my dilemma is if I will cut the hood to adjust it or not. If I cut it this means that i have to modify my intake and water insertion and also I'll have to move the battery to another place or just take it in the back ( trunk ). THis will be my last care in this period of time.

Roof scoop
THis was the one that came to me more similar to the original.
I purchased it but still searching for the original without any luck though....

A couple of questions & suggestions :

I have the S4 spoiler

but also I have forwarded the order of the original Kit Car rear spoiler

I kind of poll this option with all of you, for me I should install the second one in order to be near the original look.

Second and annoying issue......

For the love of God, has anyone track down the roof vent .... ??
Is it so hard to find ??

Is there someone that can give a hand???

Thanks a lot guys... ! ! :funk:

£129.99 is the part price + 15 pounds I think for UK delivery.
Imagine : Roof scoop + bumper + Hood intake + Shipment to Greece summed 202 Pounds...

THanks Crosedmike, wish you the best also for your "baby"

Nice job! When will you start?

I recently started my own kit car/rally replica build, and decided not to do the roof and hood vents.

Not doing to hood, because I'de have to get rid of the battery, and change the whole air flow system (TDi engine..)
and to be really honest; I put the scoop on the hood, and it wasn't pretty.. maybe I'll do it to a second hood, but not now

And not doing the roof vent, because I don't want to cut the roof

you decided yet?

My build;

Thanks a lot hakkow.... :)

I've been put on hold from the post office regarding the reception of the rear spoiler.
As soon as I receive it I'll manage to set the appointment with the "artist"..!

I will not enlarge the bodykit ( yet ) I'll stay with a pair after market wings.
There is a slight difference in my wings they are a little wider than the original ones.

Regarding the roof scoop:
I wont make a hole I manage to find it... I soon as I do so I'll drill the hole roof he he he
Do you have any idea where to find it ??

The hood will be cut. There are some custom ideas regarding the intake... either a filter box of a cordoba 2000 & above... & some more mods. I'll give you an idea....

From an FR.... DO you get the picture of the mod???? ;)

The battery is an issue but can be faced with a pair of cables and an installation in the back of the car.... I'll do that also.... In time.....

Nice project you have started also I like the fuel cap....
I also admire your taste regarding the model :D hurraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy
Are you on the road or still in the "tailor" ?

I'm into consideration of modifying it also but not visible... ;)

So you are fitting aftermarket wings? Could you show us some pics pls!? I'm really curious!

Haven't found the roofscoop either.. maybe I'll put on a dummy scoop later :p

For its not that easy to put the battery in the back, because it's a TDi, and moving the battery to the back, could get the starter underpowered.. (because of the long cable)

In the picture below you can see that the wings are "slightly" curved in comparison with the original Gti from SEAT. THe greek manufacturer and distributor provides them like that. In addition, the ends are looped ( turned from the inside ) in order to avoid making my tyre bits and pieces.

I attach these two pictures of mine & of an original one.
Can you see it?

As for the Battery, I belive that you just need a larger battery and a reliable set of professional cable.... thats all.... the line won't have any losses if you install golden battery links and joints and most of all a power stabilizer. You will be fine as an installation, I'm positive about that...

I have sen it working fine with a 12V 90AH bosch battery that costed 85 E and a pair of cables, joints & jacks that costed 230E.... It was in a Peugeot 106, 1600 engine.... 2nd stage though...!
