mine was from seat leic. what are the parts numbers for the front.

i know you can get the replacement blades and full arms which are the cheapest. has anybody got the part numbers.

Fabia Rear Wiper

A quick question for anybody who has a Fabia rear wiper. I've just fitted one which I bought off ebay (conversion kit), what I wanted to know is should the replacement arm have a thread (where it is attached to the spindle) to stop it from slipping.

no mine was from VW and it does have a thread. fitted in 5 min.

i picked one up the other day, the dealer looked at me like i was from mars when i told him it was for my Leon

I picked mine up earlier from Leicester, dealer knew all about it and even quoted this site to me =) and said the part numbers were listed on here.

The guy with him also was taking a great interest in the car I was walking to after I'd been to the showroom ... pity it was my work VW Passat Car.

I'm a complete car novice. 100%. But that is one of the easiest things I've done ... so simple!

£17 odd from Skoda, and literally 5 minutes putting it on. Highly recommended mod.

mine was stuck on had to get teh screw driver in there to give it some leverage and it shot about 10ft in the air n hit my bumper , but luckily hasnt marked it. neatly lost an eye tho he he

Gonna enquire about getting one tomorow from local Skoda dealers.

A car wash I went to when I first got my car ripped my rear wiper clean off! hasnt worked properly since only cleaning about 60% of the total area.

It is so worth doing... and once done the replacement blades are a lot cheaper than getting the usual Bosch from Halfrauds. In the long run it will pay for itself... ok, maybe in 10 years time.

When I follow one with a standard one fitted l shudder to think I once had one - they look crap!!!! .........and the same with the standard aerial!!!!!!

Got and fitted mine, done in a few minutes and now looks better and actually works!!

Nice little inexpensive mod
