hey peeps, i no here alot of thread out there on this subject but each one seems to contradict the next, so i just want to my '03 Seat 1.2 pre-face lift front bumper to the new face lift bumper, is this possible without much complications. I am on a very tight budget so was wondering how would be the cheapest way to get it done would be (eg. if its easy enough to change myself and wheres the cheapest place/websites to go rather then the dealer$). Also, ive seen part no.s for the 3 bottom grilles however have not seen any side grilles without foglights, do i need to get fog lights inorder to add the bumper to my car?? thanx for any help... sam :D

would get fog lights mate, and i think they should fit. To be honest they look much better with fog lights and you bennefit a lot from them anyway

How much is the bumper exactly then? i've seen figures around the £115 mark but apparently that for the bumper without the additional grilles. Do SEAT take long to get them in? and how much is it average to get a spray done on them? Many thanx, sam :D

I think the bumper is going to be nearer to the £200 mark, and maybe £150 to get it sprayed, but that varies massively between body shops. Your better just going to get a few quotes from local ones

bumper price is on seat.co.uk under accessories, painting be about £100-£150 im not 100% as I know the painting people round here and get good deals. Grills etc are ontop but, there not that expensive about £50 and I think you can salvage the centre one ie with the seat logo from the original.

seat.co.uk only gives mirror cover prices :S and seat.com only gives the price for a full body kit :( i'm suprised at the price of a spray! im gonna get some other stuff done at the body shop so hopefully i might get a small discount ;)
