I think it might look like this. They might update the engines aswell (1.6 cr tdi , 2.0 cr tdi , FR TFSi 220 bhp CUPRA 265bhp) Their free to make the Ibiza FR and CUPRA 180 bhp and 200 bhp then.![]()
The 2009 Leon will have a cabin that is free from rattles![]()
Well i would agree that in 2009 they are releasing a new up to date Leon. Whether this is a facelift version or complete overhaul i dont know. I know that it will be based on the Mk6 Golf and Audi A3

I would say if you look at Golf its about the last part of the year next year that it will be released so i reckon end of 2009, early 2010

Given how much that 8 year old car looks like the current Leon, I doubt it very much. Seat brang out that Tribu thingie, and the design they gave the nose of that (Straight, sharp lines rather than the current Altea/Leon's curvy apperance), found it's way to the new Ibiza.I wish they'd revise the Leon dashboard to look like the original Salsa concept:
Salsa Concept
....Come to think of it. I wouldn't complain if a refreshed MK II/new MK III Leon was the Salsa concept (even if it is 8 years old!!)
