Hi all

Been informed of the following issue with the VAG 2.0 tdi lump in 170 trim



The guys over at-sport.net are looking for any people with the issue to contact them as the intention is to take somw form of 'group action' en masse to VAG to resolve.

It has been speculated that this issue and the dual mass fly wheel problem are linked.

What ever the issues cant hurt to be aware.

i had this on my last fr. but as it went back to seat i didnt bother with it. i'm keeping a close eye on it though

Interesting, I get this noise occasionally. I always thought it was the DPF clearing itself??
