Am I being blind, I was looking for the removing handbrake gaitor guide as i need to tighten my handbrake. 2 years of parking on a near 45 degree incline has its impact.

You just give it a firm pull in the direction of the release button - slightly lifting at the base. Mine came off very easily in any case.

I just pulled it forwards towards the dash - came off semi-easily.
