fault code

Anyone know what this fault code is on a 1.4 16v

P0106 map/baro sensor

Other than it refers to the MAP sensor being "out of range" - maybe its become unservicable, I'd doubt if cleaning it would improve things, have you tried clearing this fault code to see if it returns frequently? I'd wait for some more replies before thinking about changing this sensor, I take that you do not have VAG-COM or VCDS support to help you?

No dont have vag com this was taken at a garage as a freebie, its my sisters car has been slighty hesitant at 2000 revs and now has started to do it at 70mph code has cleared for the minute through up the epc light?
