Thanks guys.

Got a good deal on it. Especially considering I was trading in an RX-8 that are notoriously hard to get rid of :)

It really doesn't like the snow though, although it does cope a lot better than the RX-8 (it can actually move) :D

It might be getting a remap on it at some point. Nothing planned atm though.

nice car mate i had i vrs nearly same colour race blue, there is one in my area fr tdi with body kit on looks the dogs in that blue he has the black grill on looks awsome

also get the car lowered if ur going to tune it. makes a huge difference to the stance and handles a lot better. stardard car set-up looks like it's on 4x4 suspension tbh, especially the rear gap between tyre and wheel arch.

i know FR's ride a lot better on lowering springs. Cupra should be similar. i went for the more expensive coilover option.

If you looking for lowering springs give Seremotors a PM, he can supply eibach lowering springs for discount prices to us SCN members.

Well done fella - a guy at the end of my road has got an FR in that colour - looks very smart - as always much better in the 'metal' than any pic can justify.

I can't believe I've had my Cupra for a year now - only done 6k too :-o

I hope you have fun - spring and better weather are just around the corner

Speed blue is an awsome colour,

glad your happy with the cupra :D

I chopped the RX 8 in for a K1 in May last year and yes, the Rex was rubbish in the snow (the K1 is slightly better). Think I got rid of the Rex at the right time as the prices have dropped like a stone since (I got 8K for a 4 year old car with 46K miles on the clock).

What do you think of the Cupra compared to the Rex?

Cupra feels a lot safer than the rex, especially as the Cupra doesn't have shitty bridgestone RE040 tires on it!

Power delivery is completely different as well, I do like having some torque again.

You definitely got rid of your rex at the right time. I got just over £8k for a 2 year old one with under 10k miles :( Government + Mazda + Credit crunch screwed prices completely :(

Good to see you had the best colour RX8 :D
