I bought a mk3 golf vr6, and by the time i'd sold everything we didnt use it cost about £1200. Including buying the Ibiza. lol.
At a guess you'd be looking at about £4k to get someone to do the conversion for you.

Not bad figures those - i take it your still running a cat?

Yeah still running a cat and the air intake is too close to the hot engine. Sort those two and should get even more power.

You boys have it easy with parts so cheap and plentiful. All euro stuff costs far too much here.

Yeah it`d cost heaps to get the conversion done by someone else, and at least if you do it yourself, you do it with a bit more love. I can do everything except wiring.

Well theres plans and then theres the fact of finding money

What i hope to do is get some smoothing done, little touches to bumpers, set of polished design 90's and get it lower. should look simple and sweet.

yes mate i am sort of...il post some pics up mid week, just had the borbets mirror polished, Probably gonna start smoothing my front number plate recess, but looking for a spare bumper. Also goin back to standard with the lights and a simple grill, all ready for e38 in the summer, you should come, there was only 2 mk2's there last year so not much competition!
