First Service Costs

My FR TFSI has just passed 9,000, miles and it is time to look for its first service, what sort of price should I be looking at?

Is there a list of warranty issues I should get them to check while they have the car, I have a creaking stearing rack at slow speeds so that is top of the list.

Im not sure about the petrol but my FR TDI cost <£140 at a local VW garage

£144, plus i got my warranty issues sorted too.when i questioned the price they advised the car was almost a year old so its an annual&10k service.

Had mine done by my local garage last weekend, £71.

Funilly enough i was in the local dealers this week, they asked about my service and said they would have price matched to £20, for £90 i would have actually gone there if i'd known. Their advertised price is £160, i suppose the moral of the story is ask.

Apparently if the FR TDi has a certain code in the VIN it needs both
