I took a trip up to JBS autodesign this morning to have my FK Silverline Coilovers fitted and have some new top mounts and bearings fitted aswell, The guys there are awesome and i would highly recommend going there to get work done,

So i dropped the car off at 10ish and took a walk into Chesterfield town and by 10.30, mike rang me up to tell they couldn't find my locking wheel nut, :( Stupid me decided to take the spare out as it was bald and didnt put the jack box back!!! Luckily they found a locking nut key that fitted and so carried on,:D

4 hours later they gave me the car back and it looks totally awesome, Its been dropped around 50mm at the back and 40ish at the front i believe, It may settle a bit lower,

The ride quality is still as comfortable as the standard stuff, if not better, no more crashniness and i don't feel like the car is going to topple over at any moment,

Chuck it into a corner and it goes, its amazing, i point the steering wheel and the car follows as it should, i feel more confident at turning corners and im very impressed with the overall service from JBS:clap: and the quality of the FK coilovers.

Anyway here's a few before and after pics, i will get some better (clean) pics during the week,

Here's a before pic of the rear arch:

And some after shots

*Note, i am parked on a slope so it looks a tad lop sided,

And here's a couple of Night shots i attempted:

So, what do you all think?

I will get some better shots during the week, and hopefully i will be getting some 312mm brakes fitted next month :funk:

Cheers

Glad to hear there is another happy customer from JBS :)

Your car looks nice mate! Can’t wait to get mine lowered!

Anyways I hope to see you again soon spending lots of money at JBS... (Maybe a turbo upgrade) hehe

How many turns are they down??

I have mine down 18 turns back and front and it seems lower than yours?!

I cant fault my Silverline x's-going to wind them down abit further now the new wheels are on!!

the coilovers were £400 from rimstyle and it took JBS 4 hours to hit and set them up,

For the money i paid i think there well worth the money, i could have just gone for springs but i would have needed shocks at a later date, All in all im very happy

Not sure how many turns down they are, Low enough so they don't cause any problems, 35ish mm at front and 50ish mm at the back i think?

Do you have spacers fitted to these,if so what size are they?. Also where are the mudflaps from?. Car looks nicely understated especially as it's a 5 door.

No, i havent got spacers on them, the offset is different from standard so the wheels stick out a tad more than normal,

I bought the mudflaps straight from SEAT,

Thanks for all the comments people,

anymore?
