they look like golf GTI chairs. if they are then have a word with unclefester. he has them fitted to his cupra oil burner....................... and they look very nice too!

Yeah i thought i had seen red recaros on here somewhere before. I will see if i can find some pics of unclefesters car. Im just not sure if red seats and red car would be a bit too much?

They really aren't that red once you get them in. Just watch out for a worn drivers side base bolster and worn fabric on the drivers side backrest :) Also watch out for splits in the fabric and worn runners. They will come with 4 pin plugs for the airbag harness and possibly a heated element. Airbag can be sorted, i've got the info if you need it - however your car may well come with 4 pin airbag connectors anyway.

There is a set on ebay for £280 and they are only half hour or so away from me, I need to have a look at them first really. I want, i want, i want!!!

Yup a straight swap. the rear bench is even easier. Watch out for the little black plastic clip under the rear bench that keeps the seatbelt in place as it might be missing / can snap.

Other than that it really is easy. Also watch out for the little plastic plugs that cover the screw holes on the plastic seat runner covers on the front seats.

Niceone! thanks for all that. I will make a list of what to look for ;) I have seen a few sets on ebay over the last few months so if i miss out on these im sure they will pop up again. Thanks again mate. :)

If you go see them, just make sure there's not too much wear on the seats and also in the foam.

I would consider swapping the foam on the drivers base with the one on the passenger seat as it will have had a lot of use.

nice chairs matey, really suit your motor i think.

looks mint pal, keep up the good modding

Thanks very much mate. The wheels are Kei Force 10's 18" I really should stop spending as its been pretty none stop for the last few months, but i cant stop!!!! Also the wife dont mind so its easy to keep spending :)
