Hi there, i currently own a seat ibiza bocanegra and have purchased the spoiler that seat do. i have just got it sprayed and when the body work shop have come to fit it the holes which are allready tapped into the spoiler do not allow me to drill into my boot. its very difficult to explain but the instructions say that its just bonded? surely bonding it isnt enough to withstand motorway speeds + ? please help me if anyone has had the spoiler fitted

many thanks

:) Gavin

YEP - they are just bonded on. So are your windscreen, back screen and side glass.

Something good like tigerseal will be required.

I fitted mine 2 days ago and just used a Bonding product and left it with a heater on and didn't use the car for 24 hours. Seems to be fine and have done a large motorway trip since and everything was okay.

Bond it leave sitting for 12hours and the drive max speed at 60mph for 12hours this is enough and it will be fine.

Im having a body shop to do mine next week. Think they are using tigerseal and said it would be fine

The pre-drilled screw holes are for mounting the spoiler whilst spraying it.
Tigerseal, lots of pea sized blobs every centimetre all the way round the edge. hold in place and leave to cure.
