Fixing wobbly wing mirror

Long time owner, first time poster

My 54 reg Ibiza has a wobbly wing mirror. Pretty sure someone walked into it or something. Is there an easy way, or a guide or something, on how to "open" the housing for it so I can see if it needs tightening?

Do you mean the glass is wobbly? if so you will need to prise the glass out carefully and then check the white tabs that move up and down that move the mirror as they have probably broken.

No - the hole "ear" of the mirror, housing and all.

Soz mate no idea then, Im sure some of the chaps on there have replaced their mirrors. Have you prised the tweeter cover off on the inside of the car to see if theres a fixement for the mirror there?

No, but it doesn't look like it's that side of it. You know the hinge that lets you fold the ears in? It's that that wobbles.
