Flashing heated rear window button?

The light on my heated rear window button started flashing tonight, it stopped when I pressed it and and came on solid as normal when I pressed it again.

Anyone know what thats all about?

Had it on mine, was a battery charging issue as the alternator wires had snapped off the gearbox (common fault). Check the voltage at the battery as most of the electrical faults and some warning lights will occur if the battery is allowed to run down.

Mine does it when its been left on a long time. Thought it was just to say oi!!!! windows done!!!!

I thought that but it was only a couple of minutes after I started the car and turned it on.

No issues here, i've had mine on for over an hour and no flashes at all. Could be a bad connection?

Never flashed at me, it just turns itself off given long enough

Scanned it for faults with VCDS? Would be my next port of call.
