Flip key issue - assistance required

I have a siemens one and i am having the same problem...starts the car fine!

this will not work with your car, you need a hella one

Not the only one then! Mine is a Hella key also, old remote is also Hella, and both are 433 MHz.

Edit, part number is HLO 1J0 959 753 N

one with this part no. will not work

you split the key blade half by removing the screw under the badge then lots of prizing, mine have been glued together so be patient

either will do as long as its not the older siemens version that the mk2/3 ibiza use. or the hella part no. HLO 1J0 959 753 N

get either

HLO 1JO 959 753 A is 433mhz 2 button
HLO 1JO 959 753 AG is 434mhz 2 button
HLO 1JO 959 753 AH is 434mhz 3 button

alll of the ones above will deffo work as i have tried them (the 3 button one has the nice boot button on too - great little feature )

I can't be arsed! I've had Flip Keys before and while they're trick, they're so big! I have a massive set of keys, at the minute there are 3 car keys alone!

spare key in ignition and turned on, lock door manually with old remote then press buttons on new remote until you get a beep.

so its the old key with the centrallocking in the ignition and you manulay lock the door with the new flip key then press the unlock button ten waiit a further 6 seconds then press it again?

i didnt bother waiting any amount of time, just kept pressing until it worked

that does NOT code the transponder, ONLY the remote lock/unlock part

there is a red LED on the remote, this should flash when you press a button.

my new flip key has no led on the key... old fob does

nop it doesnt have the metal key ring bracket like that neither just a loop to go through the ky ring
