Floating front end!

Right guys got a real funcky 1 for ya,so any coments,advise,or help would be gratefull!
I was at my mates last night,hes got a VW camper,and has got a 2inch norrower front beam!mean the wheels sit further in the arch!when look at it from the front or from certain angles you carnt see the front wheel and it looks as though the front end is floating and look awsome!and id like to do it to my car!

Im not overley sure how it would work or do it as yet.but if i say put a space saver on the front and that would give the effect to an extent but id like it futher in and have wider wheels than space savers

only 2 " ?? seen em done to 5" before now

narrowed front beam on the dubs is so the wheel is closer in and enables you to lower it a lot more

handling is so crap you hardly notice anyway but its rwd anyway so easily done

you'll be extending it and running fenderless next

I no what you if i have a mini thats been geting restored 4 the past 2year!in fact i dona wana get in to that!

This is what my dad has done on out bug, with narrow tyres on the front too. As said they handle shite anyways so no problem with messing up the geometry. Know what you mean though, does look good, not sure about doing it on a modern car though.

Thats what i thought but its differant,i think im may look good as our archs ar quite big and bubbly!

sure I have seen vauxhall nova's with this done and them having massive wheels inside the wheel arch.
