Hi is anybody running a FMD VOO4 blow off valve in their fr 20vt or cupra mk 4 ibiza. If so have you suffered any red lights or fault codes, if not how long have you run your motor with this valve fitted ?. Also dose your motor still run ok with no loss in performance. :)

blow off valves are a no no on the vag 1.8t engines mate there is a post in the mk4 faq section on it have a read on it.

the popular choice is the forge007 recirculating valve or the forge split r valve

Yup, running a blow-off valve on the 20vt's can cause the engine to overfuel as it throws the sensor readings off. You'd be best buying the splitr valve - all the benefits of both types in one valve!

Dear Ibiza Friend, as an auto mechanic and owner of Cupra I will tell you the truth, only one kind of valve are work proper with our engines. The valves with close loop or recycling. Any other valve will cause problems to your ECU and Turbo.

Please look at www.gttuningcyprus.com ,at, blow off valves, Valve code CRP3108
