Depends really on what your aiming to do in total...
If you have all the other normal mods like turbo back exhaust, tip, and filter on it already then i would say fmic first maybe a 4bar fpr (depending on the map)...Then you can go straight to stage 2 and save some cash...

Definitely get it before a remap.
It is worth doing whatever else you want to do the car before going to get it remapped also.
