remove outter lower grill and un screw the two screws and then unclip wireing and thats it

You forgot the step:

2) Scratch head and wonder how the grille bit comes out, then swear after you pull too hard and break it :)

mine always come out realy well just find where the clips and and put hand throught big gap and pull bottom near middle grill first then when its pooped of pull towards the car not away as there are little lugs the sit in the bumper on the very edge of the grill

Still getting nightmares over that "problem" muddy?

I only broke one of them. Getting the outer rear light clusters out scared me even more.

You may have also forgotten the step :

1) Remove the screw holding the grille in place !

Do not get tempted to stuff your hand into the bumper through the hole where the foglight lives, even if your wiring loom springs back in, use a long piece of wire or better still a Seat technician, two things can happen when your hand is in there:
1. Remember how they catch monkeys with the nut in the bottle. Your hand goes in easy enough, but it may never come out.
2. You will almost certainly need surgery to repair whatever digit you rip off on one of the hidden self-tappers holding the bumper on.

So after pulling the foglight out of the bumper, unclip the harness - DON'T LET GO.
