Footwell lighting question.

I've got the ambient lighting set to a beautiful blue along the doors and have set the front footwells to the same colour but they do not seem to light up as vivid as the blue does in the doors.

Has anybody changed their footwell bulbs to really enhance the colour and get it to match the doors? I understsnd that to put a particular colour in there would then render the cour range on the options useless but I know I'm never going to change from the blue.
