Is anyone else's on all time when dark/lights on?

I know I've only just noticed after 8 months but mine seems to be on all the time, though I can change brightness etc via the cars computer.

They are supposed to be always on, I love it myself, replaced with nice bright LED's and on full power all the time. Shame there aren't any in the back.

You're right - I have mine turned up to full intensity.

It's really good when I change gear, I can really see my feet moving around.

Shame that I keep running into other cars though:):)

Love it! Always wondered why so many people run into people at a set of red lights, now I know why!

found out mine were at 100% so turned them down a bit but still seem a bit bright, can someone possibly post their factory % setting. Thanks

I have mine turned right down as well.
was at 60% on mine also and the first time I noticed it, thought "That's not right" lol thought I had left something open but interior lights were off.

I thought the idea was for them to come on to light footwell when it is dark, then go off like the interior lights do but obviously not :)

Mine are at lowest setting, then I think they are brighter when the door is opened, I will need to check now.

I did notice the other day while I was hard wiring in my Blackvue dash cam that the footwell lights stayed on for a while and turned off even with the door open which I assume is to save battery power.

I would have them a bit brighter if they auto turned off after a while as it's just annoying in the dark when you are driving :)

If you set your footwell lighting brightness to Off in the car settings this will only have the footwell lights on when the ignition is off or the door is open.

I've set mine to this as I didnt want them on at all when driving.

I thought setting it to Off would make them stay off all the time but it doesn't. It only keeps them off when the engine is running.
