Footwell lights

Looking to fit some footwell lights in the week. Don't really need to hear the chav talk, each to their own i suppose but think its a good way of showing off the tt pedals, especially now its coming to that time of year it will be dark at 4

What is the best way to wire these lights up so they come on when door is opened? Or even when the car is unlocked like the courtesy light. Is it possible to turn them on manually also, even when door is shut? Thanks in advance guys

Suppose you could link them to your existing interior lights if you can find a good connection somewhere....so that they come on when you unlock/ open the doors? .... shouldnt be too hard...

as above, link it to the interior lights and run the wire around the roof lining, down the pillar into the footwell. shouldn't be too difficult to do. just make sure the wiring is secure and not loose around the pedals and that it doesnt intrude anywhere.

If you do a search on my name, I did a thread based on this. I wired into the dash board lights so they dimmed etc...
