OK, dont know if im the only sad person thats done this lol but on saturday night i put 10 pounds worth of bp ultimate in my car...at around 117p per litre....once i put it in i reset my fuel guage meter thing....so i ran my car from the very first line on the fuel guage, put diesel in...and ive ran it until today when the guage has returned to its original starting position,give or take a few ml's.....and the result= 132.4miles

i was just wondering if this was good or bad on a 1.9tdi leon 110 version... lets hear your results aswell guys

but get this goin had aircon on &chargin my phone.coming home 52.!!!!mpg same drivin style but no aircon&not chargin my phone.

Can be very subtle road changes on the same route.

E.g. one way may be slightly more up hill than the other way. Too subtle to notice, but will make difference to mpg!

done exaclty 500miles to really full vented tank , this time was short journeys / lead footing and all sorts

From a brimmed tank I drove to york and back plus a few days of commuting then brimmed it again, having reset the trip computed before the trip it said I'd averaged 60.9mpg, workign it out by hand on the basis of fuel used and mileage done it was more like 55. Not too shabby though I guess. That was on standard Shell Diesel.

That's because your going uphill on the way home!!

I can travel to Sheffield and get 45mpg and do exact reverse journey going faster and get 55mpg. Doncaster is 20M above sea level, Sheffield is anywhere from 60-250M above sea level and coming in down the parkway is downhill to City center.

I just picked up my Leon, its a 130 model, over the first few days I'm getting 40mpg according to the trip computer --

In my old car you would get about 40miles for £10...... So I would be happy with anything over 80miles for a tenner in the Leon.

I get terrible mpg on my 110

just below 500 miles to a full tank

I try and drive slow I try so hard but I forget and 15- 20 minutes in to the commute when I know the engine is warm throughout I seemed to get off the M6 J21 and boot the **** out of her then think why fud did I do that! as it usually gets me no where.

I am gonna start using shell ultimate again and a good service should see me get some more.

I want to buy a new MAF but £70 seems steeeeeeeppp! is it? also I have no idea where and what one I need to get.

I got a £10 lead off ebay and the vagcom 409 seems to work do you know what logs the MAF stuff is on?

hey i get close to 1000km when driving motorway and carefully on a full tank in my seat ibiza cupra, when i give it some tap its mork like 750km a tank. the other day i drove with no traffic i got 3.7l average per 100km that was amazing!

yes correct the Leon has a larger thank the biza. 55L compared to 45 i seem to recall.
