Hi ive just ordered my dv.Is there anything i should no before fitting it.Its going on a lcr

Use new hose clips and then don't drop them down on to the under tray

It's fits in exactly the same way as the OEM one, you'll be fine.

Existing one use clips on old DV are a nightmare to get off
make sure you have jubilees for new valve

Some fit the valve the opposite way too.

You'll need new jubilee clips as the standard clips won't be reuseable.

You could do with knowing what boost you're running and then make sure you fit the correct spring.

the car is standard apart from the panel filter so the normal spring should be fine right ??

Yes, mate. They come with a green spring unless specified otherwise. Good choice too, you won't go wrong with the trusty 007P.

Ive been told i wont get any noise from the dv.Is that correct ?

You get a bit of noise, especially with Forge TIP (other TIPs are available, lol), open cone/smoothed airbox, etc but it's never going to sound like a Jap rally car or a Cosworth.

cool.does anyone have any pics on how to smooth the air box as i have a green cotton in there so dont really want to get rid of that at the mo.As i dont have a clue were to start with the air box ??

I brought the 007p brand new of an eBay company & got it for £80 inc p&p, came next day recorded del and fitting was very esy took about 20 mins
