whats the benefit of fitting one of these ? are they just for the big horsepower boys or do you see any difference on a ko3/ko3s thanks in advance

Point of the forge actuator will be to have a stiffer spring than the standard which will require more pressure against it to open and bleed off boost.

so pj is it only worth fitting if you are running high boost levels?

fitting it should allow you to increase or adjust the amount of boost your turbo makes.

if i understand what i have read correctly.

seems simple enough more boost to go faster etc, but im thinking would do more harm than good due to feuling and things.

You can adjust the standard actuator to a certain extent. To be honest there is little need for it on k03/s.

but what kind of range is that certain extent.??

after-market ones normally around 8-25psi. but wouldnt it cause problems would it actully give you more power.

would a manual boost controler work on our cars like these.

I am sure forge have previously said that they are to replace your standard one if there are issues with it. Did the guy you bought it off maybe mean just replace it now to avoid issues and fiddling about in the future?

More adjustment with the forge one as you can change the spring but you simply wouldnt need to on k03/s. Might cause problems, might not but it wouldnt give you much gain if any. MBC is pointless on k03/s aswell unless you want to stop a boost spike or something as the N75 is perfectly capable of controling the boost.

yeah could do reuvers , i just dont fancy hearing all thier sales pitch ! i think the bloke meant its easier to fit while i have it on the bench thats all
