When i bought the car it had another heatsheild on it that had started to flake, Ross had a spare that iirc he had primed by a bodyshop with heatproof primer. This was applied by brush hence the brush strokes. I then bought some hamerite black barbecue paint from halfrauds which is heat resistant up to 600C then got some heat proof engine primer off of amazon (one layer of each of the latter) and done :)

must be looking at the wrong bit ive had a scout round my engine bay before my bov arrives and mines defo only got 2 screws

OMFG!!!!!!!!!! what a faf to fit thats bloody thing!!! got it done in the end but that bottom bolt is a sh!ter to get out!! then ...back in ahhhh....but worth it and just requires a lot of patience
