now what am i going to do about my ugly air box, i want it covered in white carbon but the real stuff that dk uses but not sure if you can get it.
battery cover to be resprayed in red. also need to order some 70mm cold feed pipe for my scoop.

caps look good mate :)
air boz white = defo ;) i would personaly do battery white aswelll with maybe the center red but thats me ;)

i think it will be too much white if the battery cover is white aswell. the battery cover use to be red but the paint started to flake so i stripped it off
old pic

thanks guys, anymore sugestions on the air box and battery cover, im really stuck as they dont suit my bay atm

close your bonnet and drive the car? :p only joking.

white carbon sounds good.. tbh it don't look bad to me!

lol tom, the trouble is im a perfectionist, and as i spend so much time under the bonnet little thing like this really bug me :(

Sam I have an idea ;)
You'll need an Audi S3 airbox heat sheild though
Right when I wrap with the real carbon you have to apply layer's or clear resin, this gives it it's strength and give the finish deepth [B)]
What you could do is NOT apply ANY clear resin and instead spray the real carbon white, then you will see the weave under the paint, not too sure if it will work or not though

I'll give it a go and see what happens ;) it will take me a few day's though

I have an even better idea bin the air box it looks **** , it's to big ugly and sounds crap , ur nuespeed one looks loads better , caps are cool my mate was gunna get em

now that sounds like a good idea darren. if you could do that id be very greatfull, if not just swap your car with me :)

lol dan, you are right the neuspeed looked so much better but for some reason the car didnt seem so good, seemed like i lost power low down

I'v put a bit on an old bottle so it's just a case of waiting for it to dry now,

I can get hold of a product called "Alufibre" it's srands of a aluminium weaved together to give the effect of carbon fibre, but it's silver

This fabric is a metalic coated fibre and although still a high performance reinforcment, it is primarily used as a surface layer. Due to its unique aesthetics, this material is often refered to as 'Silver Carbon'

This stuff is pretty expensive though :(

sounds good but i think the first idea is better. just looking for the audi S3 airbox heat shield, were can i get one ???
