forge dump valve problem

Just installed a new TIP today http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-M...CarParts_SM&hash=item256ffcd0c5#ht_1987wt_933
reasonably good build quality, hell of a job and every pipe appeared to have to be trimmed. Anyway immediately I took it for a drive the car was very juddery and coming on and off boost. I have a Revo stage 2 4bar FPR, full milltek system and high flow cat.

After a few minutes it appeared to calm down a bit mainly because it was warm. One thing I did notice was that the pipe running into the top of my Forge dump valve was very tight.

Do you think if that vacuum hose was very tight it may not be allowing pressure to blow off back into the TIP?

With the engine cover on it also pushes against this pipe. Anyone ever found a metal 90 deg angle piece or better hose assembly to overcome this problem. Was thinking of attaching a small piece of hose 90 deg bend then another hose to that to get the pipe curled around as fast as possible.

Final point what diameter is that hose any ideas???

Thanks for any help.

another quick thought could it be the EMU going through its adaptations again due to better air flow etc.?

Double check all the hoses and clips are tight and the n75 is round the right way. Easily done when I replaced my tip

Have you got the original Bosch DV still? Put that back in and see if that makes a difference.

cheers rickyb it appears to have calmed down a bit. Vagcom said I had an engine control fault 01314. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/01314#Possible_Causes does say you can get this after a remap which was done last month by Revo after I took off an APR map. I actually wonder if it originated in the ABS module where this code was logged as it supposedly looks at the MAF to see if its ok and I started the car at one point with that disconnected. Have cleared codes went for a 5 min drive and they have not reappeared yet but will need to keep a close eye on this.
