Forge FMIC Installed Yesteday!

I know we have all seem them but i thought id put some pics up anyway! Made my way up to Northampton yesterday to see M0rk as id arranged with him to fit me his old forge intercooler and forge T.I.P from his wifes ibiza! all in all took around 4hrs with bacon sarnies in between! , All in all cost me £500 fully installed by m0rk which i dint think was bad for a intercooler and T.I.P and some logging and setting up with the SPS3. Really enjoyed the trip home! Are 307cc supposed to disappear that quick in your rear view mirror?

Intercooler was alined before the bumper was re-fitted

Polished up this morning using some metel polish looks pretty much new now

Yeh it feels so much smoother and responsive! yeh its holding for quite a while at around 17/18psi.

it'll be a few weeks yet but its either gonna be the forge kit like yours or the forge universal like ibi turbo's.....i love them both and they both make good claims. obviously the one that is specifically designed for our cars is gonna be better for fitment, depending on what sort of price i can do the universal one for will decide which way i go.

Easily runs HB9, T6 with no timing pull on Tesco 99

just out of intrest what was the intake temps when on HB9

peaked at 25C over ambient after a good few runs, but mostly was about 20C over

Only messing mate, m0rk fitted my coilovers and my FMIC back when I had a mk3 Cupra R

He certinaly did a top job, Nothing was finished until i was happy with it!

The car's just surplus to requirements, given the van & the colt - both cover our needs, and for two of us and a pair of cats - three cars is a bit OTT.

So the ibiza goes to stock (ish) and sold on at a bargain price.
