Hey guys, recently fitted a forge splitter DV valve, works great for a while then boom out of no where stops boosting and over fuels (I think, plenty of popping from exhaust), is this common as I've read it can go in to some sort of limp mode due to the MAF causing too rich of a mixture and cause detonation?

If so is a remap the only way to avoid it?

There's also a blanking cap for the Blow off of the valve, would this make a difference? Obviously there would be no blow off noise but would act like the stock DV if not react quicker than OEM DV

The Split-r needs adjusting, it's quite possible to have it running too tight or loose, which can cause problems. I'm guessing you have set it up?

I've tried different clicks, seen people saying 10-15 for standard non mapped cars. tried everything from no clicks to high clicks, found that the trumpet was on the wrong side so swapped the trumpet to the intake pip and blanked off the trumpet so its fully recirc and so far not had the issue but only time will tell.
