Hi,
Does anyone know if the Ibiza FR (2004 model) has a service indicator?
I think its supposed to flash under the milage when due but I have done over 10k miles and nothing has said that I need a service?

At what intervals do they ask you to go for a service?? Here they say every 7500kms oil change/inspection, and every 15000kms complete maintenance service (air-filters, spark plugs, cabin air filter, etc.). However, the funny part is that VW models here, which carry the same engines.. are required to go for an oil change service every 15000kms, and a full maintenance at 30000kms

Usually, the indicator (which exists in all models) should start blinking the warning message according to the specifications set by the National Dealer (e.g. Seat UK).. If it does not, then most likely it hasn't been set in the ECU, something that can be done through the Vagcom.

Yep, the interval at which the spanner symbol appears might be set wrongly; get your dealer to check it, or set it yourself if you have vag-com.

Mine came on too early when I first had it.
