FR TDI Query??

Now then chaps.

I'm off looking at getting a new FR TDI tomorrow.

Has anyone had any dealings with the 09 facelift version? Also is the DSG box any good?

What extras arew worth getting?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to Seats.

Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere. I did have a look but couldn't see it!?!?

I thought you can't get FR TDI with DSG, even facelift model...

I have the DSG on my A3 and whilst it is a very good gearbox i would not have another. Its fine as an auto although I feel a proper auto is better at slurring the changes but DSG is lightening quick to change, i feel its cannot truley be taken as a manual. I'm currently looking for a GOlf GTi or cupra and it must be manual, i might go back in another 15 years though ...

Others will probably say different and love it though ! Just get a long test drive.

ive been told that they arnt doing dsg on the fr tdi.

i asked the question last week.

if anyone gets a better answer let me know cos im looking to order one within the next week or so

OK you got me there, I can only assume that if that's the case Seat don't do a 170 DSG so as not to poach Audi and VW sales.

Also the Golf in both Mk5 & Mk6 guises are available with the 170 Tdi engine and DSG, the 170 engine is available in the Skoda Octavia and Superb with the same combination -

Looks like Seat got the short straw!
