FR TFSI Standard intake - is this right?

I was filling up the washer fluid today and noticed that I have a hole at the front of my intake - it looks like a cover has dissapeared somewhere...

I've had a look on google and i don't think it's supposed to be there.. can anyone confirm?

Yes there is meant to be a cover that clips over there

MDS - thanks, I'll get a new one ordered.

I'm guessing it's there for a reason! Anyone got any ideas if this will be affecting performance at all? I would think it would limit the airflow in some way?
