I have a 2004 ibiza cupra 1.8T and it's clunking on the front end. from what i've read its the front anti roll bar. i want to get it sorted as i'm putting it up for sale next week.

where can i get a replacement front arb and how much, is it just from the stealers?

also i'm thinking of changing the arb bushes as well while i'm at it but realise there are different sizes available. what size bush fits the cupra?

thanks in advance!

You shouldn't need to replace the anti-roll bar, just the bushes and possibly the drop links. ARB bushes are available from your local dealer and only cost a few £s and droplinks are available from either a local motor factors or again from the dealer. Send David from Sere motors a message and ask for prices.

I've just had an advisory for a drop link being worn so worth checking those as well. I get a slight knocking noise when going over bumpy surfaces

i have shorter drop links which i put on when i had coilovers so i can't see it being them.

i have bit the bullet and ordered bushes and a new arb. As it's a 2004 model i'm assuming i have the older arb with the plastic ends which tend to crack and cause the knocking noise. if it is just the bushes tho i can always take the arb back.

thanks for the replys
