Front component speaker sizes

Hi guys and gals, I have a 98 Cordoba 6k chassis 2 door 1.6i SXE and am currently doing a lot of work on it, the only thing I'm not too sure about are the front component speakers. The tweeters are in the dash which aren't a problem but I don't know what the exact size is for the door speakers so I cna get replacements. Can anyone help, and do I have to be careful of the depth of the aftermarket speakers I choose?

You need 17cm euro fitment ones, same as the Mk3 Golf.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do the tweeter units have to be any particular size or are they all standard?

They're not standard no. I normally modify the standard mount under the grille to take whatever tweeter is being fitted.
