If my car came with front fog lights as standard, does it need them to pass an MOT? Thanks.

I don't believe so. From what I understand you only need a rear foglight, and that is only on cars post April 1980. There is no legal requirement for front foglights to be working.

If it helps, my car had front fogs as standard and I removed them 3 years ago and it has passed all the MOTs since.

Yea as above :)

ANY light fitted must work & work correctly, but if for lights are removed then they "are not fitted" so it's a pass - fronts are not required by law.

My car just went in for it's MOT last week and no issue with he missing fog's :)

I still havent wired my front fogs up and it went straight through the MOT. I even asked the bloke that did it afterwards and he said that as its not required by law to have them he doesnt even look at them, you just have to have the back one!
