omp do a front lower strut brace for the mk4 ibiza i was just wondering if anybody has fitted one and if they have has it made much of a difference if any to the handling?

ive been thinking of getting one for a good couple of months but i dont want to fit it and find it makes as much difference as the top strut brace which made minimal if any difference to handling or body flex.

I fitted it, mostly it decreased body roll. I did not notice more over/understeer, but I also have Forge front and back strut braces and Whiteline rear arb and KW front arb. My car is ibiza FR petrol.

Never found much of an improvement with front strut braces. Rear one in my leon made a big difference, and the rear ARB on my ibiza cupra was the best buy in my opinion. Dead easy to fit and noticable improvements. :)

I was refering to front strut braces, as in both top and bottom braces. Neither make a great difference IMO.

sorry i misread that, its good to get opinions on these things before purchaseing which is why i asked i agree with your saying about the top strut brace so i think id probally agree with you on the lower one aswell shame really as i hoped for a cheap handling improvement like the rear arb.

Forge rear strut brace made a big difference, believe or not. I agree that front top strut brace made no difference, but I noticed less body flex when I fitted front lower strut brace. I am not saying it is a must upgrade, but every little part makes your car handle better.

I have the omp upper and lower strut braces and found the upper (which was fitted first) made a big difference to the handling and especially heavy braking. The lower brace seemed to make less of a improvement but for £30 or so i lived life on the edge and went for it lol!
