Front nearside hub nut.

Hello folks.....I went out earlier with the intention of replacing the nearside suspension ballpoint.
I tried to undo the hub nut with a half inch drive ratchet, with a 2 foot long leverage tube on the end, but the nut just wouldn't budge.I double checked and it is a right hand thread......any ideas on what to do as I don't want to break anything ?

You need to use a big breaker bar to undo it it’ll be really tight especially if it’s the first time it’s come off. Can you not remove the 3 10mm nuts from the ball joint and use a 19mm spanner to undo the ball joint from the hub and leave the shaft in place?
