Front wheel bearing

Hi

Does anyone have a diagram of the from hub setup

I need to replace a wheel bearing but normally they are pressed into the steering knuckle on most cars ive seen but.....

From looking at certain pictures of ibizas the hub is a completely seperate part and it looks to me they are pressed into the hub itself?


Can anyone clarify?

press out iirc, done loads on other VAG's. rears just come off, but fronts are a press jobbie.

haven't got a diagram to hand, but basically you have your steering knuckle, into that the wheel bearing is perssed, and then into the wheel bearing the hub flange is pressed.

I know normally they are pressed into the knuckle, but from what i had seen it almost looked like it was pressed into the hub itself on the ibizas but obviously not
