Hi all,

I've recently been involved in accident (when i say recent, i mean 2 hours ago!), everybody is fine - minimal damage, only problem, i can't seem to get the engine started! I've had the car towed back home (what a rip-off that was!!), but i cant get into work without it!

I've been told that if i cant start the engine after an accident, then it would normally be some sort of "Fuel Cut-off unit" that i need to reset, but the engineer who came out to tow my car couldn't find it, and i don't know where to start. Does anyone here know where the Fuel Cut-off unit is located on a Seat Leon Tdi 110? It would save me the cost of going to a garage if someone here helps me!

any help GREATLY appreciated!

cheers
James

its through the airbag control unit .a fault has been logged and now needs to be deleted unless its a serious one which wont delete

blimey goble, your quick off the mark!

I assume though that it is not something an amature like me will be able to fix from home though??

what if you pull the fuse for the Airbags? I wonder if it can't communicate the DTC to the ECU it might not do anything

no doesnt work until it get the signal that all is o.k.
