scary the amount of issues on the engine in this forum

Maybe its just me, but i cant see why someone go and buy a performance hot hatch and then go and chuck cheap fuel in them.

I have always used 100ron and never had fuel issues. Its good to keep a bottle of NOS(yellow one) or Torco in your trunk and if you refill from a dodgy place add the appropiate dose to compesate for the crap fuel quality. Stick to the mentioned doses because the above products increase 6-7 octanes.

I used to fill up with VPower Racing100 religiously when i lived in germany and had my car tuned for it. Hate using crap fuel, if i have to ill only put the bare minimum in it. The missus is fully briefed up as well

anyone? only reason i ask is my local garage is texaco which is 95 i think? nearest tesco / shell garage is at least 20 mins away...

I've been using Galp Geforce 98ron or BP Ultimate 98ron (Portugal)
No Issues at all till now... As for the oil, 1.2Lts (4100km on the clock)

hmm, only reason i ask is texaco is where all our work cards are used, so it would be free fuel effectivly, but would prefer to run it on something better....

I have been mostly using 98 from Agip, also 100 from OMV sometimes...1 month ago my engine gone bye bye...luckily I got new one along with turbo, under warranty.

VPower issues

Still ongoing. Lack of power when accelerating, Juddering, iracting idling, Emissions light. Occasionally epc light

Yeah filler cap states 95ron.

Apparently the new Fabia ask's for a higher quality fuel in the filler cap??
