I have but im still struggling. Im gueesing its the pipes that run next to the plug for the engine cover? Also another question there is a black wire which Im not sure about. Does this need to be spliced into the wiring harness somewhere?

Cheers

after having a look at the wires ive found a black/yellow wire, is this the one to plug to? I only ask as ive been told to plug it to the one coming out pin 4 and this black/yellow wire is coming out of pin 2. any ideas? as i dont fancy risking just trying it.

cheers

Don't guess, you stand a good chance of being wrong.

ASZ engine in an Ibiza? Fuel temp sensor wires are green and brown, sensor is wired directly to the ECU.

I thought that these kludgeboxes slugged the coolant temperature sensor, not the fuel temperature?

As Stew says, your only safe bet is to follow the manufacturers instructions. What do they say?

I thought these so called tuning boxes were simple plug and play ? If you need to mess around with wires and the likes on do me a quick favour....

Veeerry slowly and gently, put the box down on the ground....... be very careful not to jolt it........ take 2 steps back slowly.....don't take your eyes off it for a moment..... now...... very slowly turn around until you have your back to it...... then.......

RUN LIKE HELL!!!!!!!! :runaway:

:cartman:

DONT DO IT!!!!!!

it will knock the EML on in days. couple of my mates had them and caused random stalls and EML's

yep my point exactly 'plug and play' my arse. Ive done it now and tbh im not that impressed especially for the effort required. Going to start saving for a remap like I should have always done, and i'd advise everyone esle who is thinking about these boxes does the same.

still thanks everyone for your efforts

Never mind...... at least now you know and the curiosity has been answered. There's some good deals on at the moment so you shouldn't find it too hard to get a decent remap mate.
