full decat from the turbo back??

i did this on my scooby as this was the best thing to do for power etc!! but im wandering as these engines are so different, should it be done and what are the gains as im thinking of a remap soon aswell??
i have searched on this forum about it but all i found was mixed views, so people with it or who have had it done in the past, what are your views??
also what systems you have?? thinking a miltek...

Only really if going Big turbo . I have a 3" downpipe and decat into a 2.75" miltek cat-back.

so whats the best type of system to get then??? and why is it only advised if you are getting a bigger turbo (im not)???
