Yeah not as bad as you originally thought. As far as I know the really expensive fault as described above was on a later model where the sensor was built INTO the abs unit.

Don't quote me on this but I bet its some sort of connection to the sensor.

The G201 fault was the biggest pain in the arse I've had with this car. Same boat as you I was due MOT but thankfully the fault just went.

Thats ok mate. I will ring seat first to see if they will do it if not then replacing the sensor shouldnt be too bad a job.
 
did a service on the missus leon cupra tdi 04
no pressure sensors on master cylinder its in the pump
it was the teves 20 system that had the sensor in the master cylinder
not seen a teves 60 with seperate switch on golfs/leons
 
I will take to somewhere to get it sorted out. Although the light hasn't come on for two days now!
