Any one used or seen one of these? Do they look OK or are they likely to be cheap crap?
(Not the Carbon Fibre look by the way) If so are there any other alternatives other than the Nomad once which IMO are a bit on the expensive side?

Yeah a few people have this. Bazzle for one I know for sure, couldn't tell you the usernames of others though.

They are a cheap alternative, I personally don't think they look near as good as the nomad pillars, due to the fact they are a different colour and that you have to screw it into place...

I got mine in the other day looks good once you get it to fit right found it a bit of a PITA at its go no flex in it because its fibre glass but imo much better than the cheap ones you just screw on...

tbh i'm not a fan of the Nomad Pod, they look ok and everything, and they do look factory fit, but the way the gauge pod sticks out is just too random for me. It could look so much better if it was smoothed in to the pillar, rather than just poking out.

I had a RGM pod in my old car, and i've seen a couple in cupra's, and for the money compared to the Nomad, they look fine (apart from the carbon ), admittedly i'm not a fan of the screw idea, but just make sure you don't plan on removing it any time soon.

Each to there own though, i'm not calling the Nomad, it's a very good pod, but equally there nothing 'wrong' with the RGM.

I have a twin nomad, and would highly recommend it! Mate had one of these cheap nasty ones in his Leon. Could see the screw at the back holding it in place...

Anyone know any place you can get a nomad pillar for less than £72+ p&p from there own site. Googled it but came up with nothing.

Nope got mine from nomad for that price...it is expensive but imo does look hell of a lot better than the uni ones...plus the double gauge holder is the same price as the single so mite be worth getting that and buying another gauge to put in the other hole...

Went with peer pressure and ordered my Nomad pod today. It better be good for the price Got good price on the gauges so thot may as well. Will post some pics up when its here and fitted.

Just got some pic's up fitting the Pillar Pod.

Well impressed and worth the extra money so thanks to the guys who recommended Nomad. Pitty it only boosts to 8/9 psi - enforceces the fact I need a remap and soon
