LEON 20VT FR
Hi all ...

im looking for a gauge pod for my leon ... i bought a pod designed for the Golf (from 42 draft designs) thinking it would fit but it wasn't 100% so im looking for a better one.

I have an order for VDO gauges pending on whether I find a 2 or 3 gauge mount

My options at the moment are either to find a double A-pillar mount, or convert the dash to a double -DIN and use the extra space for gauges. I'm not going to pay 200-odd quid for a piece of plastic so i'll have to find an Audi S3 at the breakers .. in the meantime i'll see what A-pillar mounts I can find.

As of now i found:

- Nomad (finish looks iffy and 50 pounds is quite a bit)
- Ultra Tuning (finish looks good but only available in that fake carbon)
- DCP (looks like the same item Ultra Tuning stock, but no option for LHD cars, and i can't find contact detaile)

Any help??

The boost gauge I already have is 52mm but i'll buy a different size if I have to.

Ive got a Nomad boost guage which matched the dashboard colours.

IMHO - nice bit of kit

i think i'll have to. does it replace the entire a-pillar or does it stick/clip onto the existing one?

If its an entirely new unit, does it have all the clips also? the padding on the bottom?

Don't bother with the Nomad mount, for £6 you can get a simple gauge mount for your 52mm gauge, just fitted a gauge at te weekend looks great. The pod you need is a TIM single mount, I put it on the dash just at the A-Pillar, nice!!, alternatively you could stick it to the inside of the windscreen!!!.

You can buy these mounts in Halfords, so no need to wait.
