Gear Box Linkage Snapped

the metal strip which pivots as part of the gear box linkage has snapped at the point that the weight sits inside it. I have searched all over the place and cannot find any information on how to get hold of a new one.

Does anyone know where i might be able to find one?

I had the same problem on the ibiza, welded it back together and found a member here with a scrap box that gave me the bits.

1998 1.9TDi AHU i believe.

I would guess you mean #44 ? the horizontal part ?

just stripped my scrap box of all that tower and parts for someone recent - have a feeling he didnt need that part so cross fingers he may be around and offer it up - or someone will if around

saying that, check ya local dealer with details chassis etc as i'm sure a genuine new one is only about £6-8 or so
