Yeah I did, I took car to a vw specialist who advised that I had a vacuum issue. Car was struggling to get vacuum. So i replaced the vacuum pump n it's been fine since

They just plug it in and find this out? How much did it all cost?

One of the mechanics used to own a Leon pd170 who had same problem and he just offered to test it for me just out of curiosity. Bit lucky it was same thing. New vacuum hose, pump n an hours labour. 130quid in end. But the part was only 25-30quid. Easy to do if U have the right tools and knowledge.
